We’re pleased to announce the release of Legal Signing for Gravity Forms version 5.0.
This latest version brings a PDF embedder, a valuable new feature that lets users embed the generated PDF on the form confirmation page.
Legal Signing PDF Embedder
Typically, the form confirmation page displays a message to help the submitter verify that the form was submitted successfully. When the new PDF embedder is implemented, the user will see both a confirmation message and a preview of the generated PDF. They will be able to magnify, print, and download the PDF right from the confirmation page.
In this release, the PDF embedder is enabled using a simple shortcode in the form’s confirmation settings.
In a future release, we’ll be debuting a Preview field that allows for a preview of the generated PDF to be viewed while the user fills out the form.
Document Hub Update
Additionally, Legal Signing 5.0 includes an update to the Document Hub block, which allows you to display a list of forms in a page or post. In this update, we’ve added a Filter & Sort setting to help you get super specific with your list. For example, you can choose to display only those forms or contracts that are pending or awaiting signatures.
Legal Signature Field Updates
This release also includes accessibility enhancements to the Legal Signature field as part of our ongoing commitment to continually improve accessibility overall.
Improved styling is also a part of this release, as the Legal Signing field now inherits Gravity Forms’ theme framework styling. For example, when embedding a form using the Orbital theme, the Legal Signing field will now reflect that styling along with the rest of the form.
