Entry Automation 6.0 is now available!

Announcing Entry Automation 6.0 and the Multiple Forms Extension

We’re pleased to announce the release of Entry Automation for Gravity Forms version 6.0, available March 5th, 2025.

As part of this release we are also making available to Professional and Agency tier license holders our new Multiple Forms extension that allows for setting up global export entries tasks that can target multiple forms and combine them into the same file.

While there are some assorted improvements in this release to the core Entry Automation, much of this release is concerned with adding support for the new extension.

To celebrate the release, we’ll be running a 25% off sale on all new Entry Automation and CosmicGiant bundle licenses, as well as license upgrades, from now through March 19th, 2025! The discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Multiple Forms Extension

The new Multiple Forms extension adds an oft requested feature to both Gravity Forms and Entry Automation – the ability to export entry data from multiple forms all at one into the same file, whether that be CSV, JSON, PDF, or XLSX (Excel).

Multiple Forms Tasks

The Multiple Forms extension allows all the same goodness available in our existing, per form, Export Entries task functionality, but across all of your forms at once.

When setting up a Multiple Forms task, you’ll be able to essentially build the structure of the export file from scratch by adding columns to it with custom names, and choosing the data sources that will go into those columns.

With this extension you can select as many forms as you’d like, add as many columns as you’d like, and choose exactly which columns in the export file you’d like individual pieces of data from each form to be listed under.

For more in-depth information on this feature and all it has to offer, please check out our full documentation on creating a a Multiple Forms task.

Multiple Forms Exports

With this new extension we also add a new way to export one off entry data, similar to the default Gravity Forms Export Entries functionality to export entries to a CSV via a one off export.

With the Multiple Forms extension installed, you’ll now have a Multiple Forms Exports tab on the Forms > Import/Export tab in Gravity Forms. This page gives you a more limited set of features than creating an actual Multiple Forms task as described above, but it lets you build the export file in the same way, control the date range of the entries to be included in the export, and on processing will give you a CSV of the exported entry data across all selected forms.

Run Task Until Setting

New to the core features of Entry Automation with 6.0 is another often requested feature – the ability to set an end date for a scheduled task so it stops running automatically once that end date is reached.

Before the addition of this setting, scheduled Entry Automation tasks ran in perpetuity until they are later manually deactivated. Now, while setting up your schedule for a task, you can choose between that default of letting a task run forever, or setting an end date and time for the task to stop running automatically.

When the next potential runtime for a task exceeds the cutoff time you’ve set in this setting, the task will no longer schedule future runtimes.
